Citrus offers online courses through summer 2020, continued campus closure due to COVID-19 pandemic

Citrus College will continue to offer online classes for the summer 2020 session, Superintendent/President Geraldine Perri, Ph.D., said in an email to faculty and staff on April 20.

The Citrus campus remains closed through June 12.

“As our summer session registration dates are quickly approaching, there remains a great deal of uncertainty regarding COVID-19 and the future of the ‘stay-at-home’ order,” Perri said.

Summer session begins June 22 and ends Aug. 14.

“Plans for a physical return of staff this summer are still being determined, and information will be shared as soon as it becomes available,” Perri said.

She said the college administration’s future decisions will be based on guidance from state and county health officials.

Perri said she encourages faculty and staff to visit the college’s COVID-19 webpage, www.citruscollege.edu/covid19.

We will get through this together, and I look forward to seeing you all again soon,” Perri said.
