Citrus College will receive a new logo design for the first time this Century.
Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services Claudette Dain said in an email, Citrus hopes to share the new logo by the fall 2025 semester.
The new logo is part of Citrus’s new branding project. The branding project is a section in the much larger 2020-2023 Educational and Facilities Master Plan, Dain said.
“The Branding Project was identified as a need, by the College, through input from various constituents over an approximate 18-month period,” Dain said in an email.
Dain said that the goal of the EFMP is to implement a branding plan that highlights the successes of Citrus College students.
The marketing company Graduate Communication is developing the new logo for Citrus.
Dain said select members of Citrus’ superintendent/president Greg Schulz’s cabinet along with support from Citrus’s External Relations will be managing and providing input.
In addition with the development of a new logo, Graduate Communication will also be providing Citrus with more brand research, focus groups, a new brand seal, development of a brand and a branding style guide Dain said.
All of these agreements were confirmed in a contract awarded by the Citrus College Board of Trustees to Graduate Communications. The contract was awarded on Aug. 20, 2024 (section H2).
Citrus will pay Graduate Communication $112,750 for the services provided.
Dain said the logo is currently in the process of being refined.
