Correction Policy

At The Clarion, we are dedicated to providing our readers with accurate and trustworthy information. However, we acknowledge that errors or inaccuracies occasionally occur despite our best efforts. To report corrections and clarifications, please email contact@ccclarion.com or the Clarion email associated with the author of the article.

We are committed to correcting errors discovered either by Clarion staffers or by our audience as soon as possible.

  • Corrections will be made without notice to stories that have minor corrections, such as typographical errors, grammatical mistakes or other minor issues that do not significantly affect the context and meaning of the article.
  • For errors and corrections that affect the meaning and context of an article, we issue an accurate revision. This correction is accompanied by a correction notice at the bottom of the online article.
  • Articles that contain wholly inaccurate or unreliable information will be withdrawn and replaced with an editor’s note explaining the withdrawal.

Take down policy

  • For stories published online, The Clarion does not grant take-down requests except in the case of threats or a story that will cause measurable consequences to the person involved.

We encourage readers to report errors they discover in our articles. Your feedback is invaluable in maintaining the accuracy of our reporting. We promptly investigate the matter and take appropriate corrective action upon receiving feedback.

Thank you for choosing The Clarion as your source of news and information. We hope and strive to maintain the highest journalistic standards and diligently address any errors that may arise.
