The Citrus Owls men’s basketball team, on a 22-game winning streak, is set to face Allan Hancock in the second round of the 3C2A tournament at 5 p.m. Feb. 28 at home.
The Owls, with a record of 27-1 and a perfect 14-0 in conference play, secured the No. 2 seed and had a first-round bye. Their opponent, Allan Hancock, 22-9, advanced after defeating Cypress 72-65 in their first-round matchup at home Feb. 25 in Santa Maria.
A victory for the Owls would set up a matchup against the winner of the San Bernardino Valley at Mt. San Antonio game. If they win, the next tournament game will be at home on March 7.
