Victim jumps onto car hood in attempt to stop robber

A non-student person was reportedly robbed at knife-point in the restrooms near the Performing Arts Center at 1:40 p.m. on May 29.

According to the Citrus College Campus Safety Timely Warning email that was sent on May 30, the victim had chased the suspect to his car that was parked in the S1 lot after being robbed of his money.

The victim then jumped onto the hood of the suspect’s car in attempt to stop him from getting away, but ultimately failed.

The call was received by dispatch at 1:50 and was responded to 10 seconds later, but by then the suspect had fled southbound on Citrus Avenue.

The vehicle was described as a white, newer model, two door, Infinity G35 with lightly tinted windows.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 28-32 years old with a slender build, black hair, brown eyes and thin beard. The suspect had tattoos on both arms and a three letter tattoo on the back of his head. He was seen wearing grey basketball shorts, a white sleeveless shirt and black Vans.

No students were physically injured as a result of this incident.
