Deja Vu continues legacy of putting “natural” in supernatural

Citrus College history professor Bruce Solheim walks with no rush to get to a place. Instead, his destiny is to strive and make connections in other dimensions. He succeeds.

It was in one of his morning walks while meditating that he had a vision of his dead friend Gene Thorkildsen, who confirmed the professor is a prophet and carries a big responsibility for writing about the paranormal.

Solheim released “Timeless Deja Vu” in 2019, his second paranormal personal history book after “Timeless.”

Solheim’s message is people should live fearlessly and with honor, because we are all timeless.

“Timeless Deja Vu” is an independent book with 31 narratives of paranormal experiences throughout Solheim’s life from 1967 to 2019.

Despite the book being about the paranormal, it does not fit into the category of terror. However, some stories seem like a thriller plot, such as “Follow Me,” where Solheim and his ex-girlfriend visit a cemetery for a spooky adventure on the night of Halloween.

He has visions with dead humans in other dimensions, and in 1997, to the reader’s surprise, he believes he was the one chosen to receive a message from an ancient alien seer.

Two decades later in 2018, he again contacted Anzar, the alien primordial mystic, who said Solheim is related to him.

“Could it be that I’m of alien origin? In a way, I guess I always suspected that because I’ve never quite fit in anywhere and have always been very independent,” Solheim wrote in his book.

A memoir from a college professor, “Timeless Deja Vu” is intriguing and unequal from ordinary stories. It creates questions and critical thinking, as to how such magical connections made by Solheim with the dead are possible and what happens after death from a spiritual point of view.

The book also contains illustrations made by Gary Dumm, the same artist in Harvey Pekar’s comic book “American Splendor.”

With the easy-to-follow writing and various dialogues added throughout, it is hard to stop reading once you start.

“Timeless Deja Vu” is a unique book that can either be appreciated by those who share the same paranormal experiences, or view the subject as foolish from those who are skeptical. For the skeptical people, the book can easily fail to be interesting since a lot of the matters and encounters are far from everyday reality.

No matter where people fit themselves into, the book has a collection of memories that most people can relate to, such as passing through the struggles of choosing the wrong career (flight school in Solheim’s case); dealing with heartbreaking breakups in relationships because of cheating; failed divorces; family sickness and loss of loved ones.

The author not only has made contact with important historical figures such as Martin Luther King and Gandhi (who confirmed to Solheim what they preached when they were alive – violence begets violence and should be combated with love), but also with Elvis Presley, American actor John Wayne and American comic book writer Harvey Pekar.

“Many spirits line up to speak to me, sometimes all at once until I call out one of them,” Solheim wrote in his book. “When I establish a relaxed focus and receive their communications, I usually see a faint image of the person, or hear their voice, or sometimes it appears as handwritten (often golden) that I can see.”

In the book, Solheim’s intuitions are explained through visions he had in the past that eventually became true in the future.

Solheim also shares deep and sensitive topics of his life such as when he suffered childhood sexual abuse. Until now he deals with unresolved anger, shame, frightening dreams, anxiety, and depression due to the traumatic event.

Many times throughout Solheim’s life, he was threatened to become the ghost and not the psychic-medium. Passing through near-death experiences, Solheim believes to have been saved by his guardian angel, reaching another “fork in the road of time.”

Solheim’s theory of people’s personal quantum reality is individuals are born as a reincarnated being who pass through a fork in the road of time, which means they either die or live on in another dimension as if nothing had happened and an alternate life experience takes place instead.

In a chronological timeline, “Timeless Deja Vu” makes people travel through the years as Solheim brings people together as one in this disturbing world full of distractions we currently live in.

Confirming his friend’s belief that Solheim is a messenger of the paranormal, Solheim is currently working on his third paranormal book titled “Timeless Trinity.”

“Timeless Deja Vu” costs $12.95 on Amazon.

The history professor will also offer the Paranormal Personal History course again in fall 2019 after debuting the course in fall 2018.

“One of the things that unites all cultures on Earth is the paranormal,” Solheim wrote in his book. “Evil attracts evil, whether it’s terrestrial or alien, and love and compassion are stronger than the forces of hate and darkness.”
