Slideshow: Not masking your style during COVID-19

With it now being mandatory to wear a face-covering or mask in Los Angeles County many people have found ways to express themselves while still staying safe.

Masks and face coverings have become a new and trendy fashion accessory.

“Masks that protect us don’t have to take away our individuality, and they should be considered a socially acceptable way to make a fashion statement,” former Los Angeles Times assistant features editor Cindy LaFavre Yorks said in her Op-Ed titled “I see face masks as a socially acceptable fashion opportunity. As a part of The Clarion’s ongoing COVID-19 coverage, we wanted to showcase some of the great masks from members of the Citrus community.
