Citrus to require proof of vaccination

Editor’s note: the story will be updated as more information becomes available.

Citrus has set Nov.1 as the deadline for all employees and students to provide proof of full vaccination status for the fall semester.

There will be an accommodation process for employees and students who request an exemption due to disability/medical conditions or religious beliefs.

Those who do not provide proof of their vaccination status by the deadline must continue to test regularly.

Superintendent/President Greg Schulz said in a Zoom interview, those who are fully vaccinated and provide proof will still undergo mandatory testing, possibly until Nov. 1.

Students and employees returning for the winter and spring semesters will have until Jan. 3, 2022, to provide proof of their full vaccination status.
