Career/Transfer Center offers opportunity for students to tour Northern California universities

The Career/Transfer Center will take students to tour Northern California universities at the beginning of spring break. They’re set tour UC Berkeley, UC Davis and Stanford University, but the list is subject to change. 

During the tour, students can learn about topics like transfer application requirements, majors and campus life. 

Transportation, lodging and meals will be provided to participating students at no cost. The trip will span from April 15 till April 17.

The deadline to apply is 4:30 p.m. March 15. Students who apply will find out if they’ve been selected no later than March 27. 

To be eligible to participate students must meet the following requirements stated by the application

  • Submit a complete application and Statement of Interest by the deadline 
  • Be enrolled at Citrus College during the Spring 2024 semester
  • Have completed at least one semester previously at Citrus College
  • Have at least 15 transferable units completed (Dual Enrollment/CCAP students are not eligible to participate)
  • Have a minimum 2.00 overall transferable grade point average (GPA)
  • Have not previously participated in the Northern California University Tour

If accepted students have to attend a mandatory in-person orientation from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 2:30-4 p.m. April 5.
