With fall season coming to an end, many can argue that the season is not the best out of the four seasons.
Fall season definitely has a lot of cons. Fall season, also known as flu season, is awful. No one likes to get sick, especially when in school. Having the flu can affect a person to potentially miss classes or fall behind a bit.
While a lot of people enjoy staying in bed when the weather is cold and gloomy, it’s not a lot of fun when it’s due to being sick and not feeling well. Especially with the weather being cold in the mornings and changing to warmer temps throughout the day, the cold can definitely affect a person’s health.
Daylight saving also happens in the fall, and a lot of people can agree that when the time changes, people get thrown off a bit. Now it gets darker quicker and days are a lot shorter. Some people may feel that they don’t have enough time in their day to get things done because they now get tired earlier.
Sometimes people can feel tired earlier during the time change because it gets dark out quicker and that can cause people to want to end their day a lot earlier. It can sometimes make people feel less motivated.
During fall, the temperatures are all over the place. Some days are warm and other days are cold. Mornings are usually chilly and then it warms up in the afternoon, which makes it difficult to plan outfits accordingly if not prepared for the different temperatures.
Fall is not the best season because cold weather can affect people’s physical health. The Health University of Utah explains how cold weather and body aches and joint pain.
Colder weather can cause body aches due to body stiffness. The colder weather can increase swelling in certain areas of the body.
Body aches and pains are not something to look forward to during the colder season. Not only does fall affect people physically, the season also affects people mentally as well.
Seasonal Affective Disorder is also really common in the fall. Many people begin to feel sad during this time of year. People can experience mood changes that affect their usual behavior and become unlike their usual selves. From the website of the National Institution of Mental Health, some behaviors may include feeling sad, over sleeping or having trouble sleeping, social withdrawal, anxiety, or changes in appetite.
These reasons are why fall is not the best season.
