The Temptations bring down the house

The Temptations held a triumphant concert on Sunday Nov.17 at The Haugh Performing Arts Center. Their concert was full of soul and spirit.

The Haugh was a full house of folks singing along to the Temptations classic songs. The audience sang every word to each of the songs. The Temptations during the concert took some time to give a biography of the group and introduced each other. They were also made jokes about each other, making the audience laugh.

The Temptations have one surviving founder, Ottis William, the original founder. The group consists of Melvin Franklin, Paul Williams, Eddie Kendricks, and David Ruffin. They are referred to as “The Classic Five”. https://temptationsofficial.com said The Temptations still stand as one of the only greatest vocal groups of Motown Records Golden. The band members are known for their choreography, distinct harmonies and style.

The Temptations spent their concert singing their classics which included “My Girl” and “Treat Her Like a Lady”. They also introduced new songs from their new album called “All The Time” which included cover songs from other artists like Sam Smith’s “Stay with me”. Their choreography and vocals created a fun environment in the Haugh. The audience was grooving and moving to all the songs. When The Temptations sang their national anthem “My Girl” the audience went stood up and danced in the aisles.

During the concert, The Temptations gave a  biography of the group and introduced each other. They were also made jokes about each other, making the audience laugh. They interacted with the audience by having them join a sing along. The Temptations ended the night by shaking the hands of the people in the audience. People left the Haugh Performing Arts Theater with smiles on their faces.
