On April 23, Black Scholars and the Pride Center hosted Thrive Fest: A Building of Culture of Care.
Held in the Campus Mall and Campus Center, the event provided refreshments, snacks, and activities that brought students together to recharge, engage and connect.
Facilitated by the Dream Resource Center, Thrive Fest invited students to design a creative, physical and mental outlet to de-stress and instill harmony.
The gathering of all students and staff established a sense of community and wholeness. As if we were in an outdoor retreat center, including booths such as a stretching area, cosmetology booth, creativity booth, photo booth, library booth, and much more.
