AGS hosts Third Annual Flea Market Fundraiser

The Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society Club will hold its third annual “AGS Flea Market Fundraiser” on Saturday, May 2nd, in the Campus Center Mall. This fundraiser aims to raise money for Citrus clubs, allowing them to set up booths where they can display and sell their own unique items and keep 100% of the profits made.

Clubs participating were recommended to begin by gathering donations such as clothing, books, collectables, or anything that flea market goers may be interested in purchasing, though the time to submit your club for the event has already passed.

Historically, the Flea Market fundraiser has drawn great attention, including many shoppers who attend the event early on in the morning, who are often not associated with Citrus College at all.

“In the past, AGS has raised over $1000 in just this event alone,” Timothy Yamaguchi, AGS club President, said. “I firmly believe we can get close to doubling that number this year, and I’d like to remind those participating that they have the same opportunity for success.”

The event will be held from 8:30 A.M. to 12 P.M. Event attendees are recommended to park in lot E6, behind the library. Don’t miss out!
