Long Live the Arts at the Haugh!

Editor’s Note: This story has been updated with the correct information about the spring musical.

The Haugh Performing Arts Center was expected to go back live this April with the spring musical.

Cinderella was on the horizon for live entertainment at Citrus College. Drum Tao was also supposed to happen last October, but instead of rescheduling, the show has been canceled altogether according to the Haugh’s website.

Cinderella was originally slated for April of 2020. At this time, there are no plans for putting it up, any time soon. State and local guidelines do not allow for live, in-person, indoor events,” said Michelle Russell, Administrative Secretary of the Haugh.

If a ticket was purchased for a canceled event, the Haugh can provide a full refund. The tickets can also be used for any future shows or donated to the theater. Donations are tax-deductible.

So many of our patrons (and students) are eager to come back for performances,” Russell said.

Tickets are being sold for We Banjo 3: Live from Ireland, which will be a live virtual event on March 13.  WB3 has not performed since the pandemic began, so this will be the first time in a year that they are back on stage. Tickets are on sale now at the Haugh.
