The Asian Exchange Club is partnering with Student Life to host “Club Connect,” a collaborative panel event designed to encourage student involvement and leadership on campus.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 3 in ED 210 and will feature club officers from across campus sharing their experiences with student organizations, leadership opportunities and campus involvement.
The panel will give students the chance to learn more about the different clubs available on campus while hearing firsthand advice from student leaders about balancing responsibilities, building connections and getting involved in college life.
The Asian Exchange Club said the event was created to help students feel more connected to campus and more aware of opportunities outside the classroom.
“Club Connect” will include discussions from student leaders about what it is like to run a club, how students can participate in organizations and why campus involvement can improve the college experience.
Organizers are still planning event details and are reaching out to additional clubs for participation. More club sign-ups are expected before the event takes place.
