The Anything for Salinas Band set to perform at the Haugh in honor of Mexican-American music artist Selena Quintanilla.

The Haugh Performing Arts Center seeks to commemorate Selena Quintanilla, the Queen of Tejano music, with the Anything for Salinas event that they will be holding on Sunday for Hispanic Heritage Month.

The show will take place at the Haugh Performing Arts Center from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There will be a pre-show Community Celebration from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. that will be free to attend. The event will take place in front of the Haugh lobby. No ticket is required to participate.

The Evie Dance Studio will be at the Community Celebration to offer free dance Cumbia dance lessons for guests. Mexican food such as chicken fajita burritos and cheese quesadillas with sides of rice and beans will be provided by Sodexo, Citrus’ official catering partner.

The main show will feature the Anything for Salinas Band, a tribute band who’s dedicated themselves to preserving the legacy of the late Selena Quintanilla, who is widely recognized as one of the most celebrated Mexican-American singers of the late 20th century. Through their strong vocals and lively choreography, they promise to perform Selena’s greatest hits with undisputed energy and passion.

The Haugh will be selling concessions before and during intermission, featuring an assortment of cookies from Plaza Produce.
