Update: An April 1 Instagram post by Citrus College Student Life and Leadership Development said the deadline to submit applications has been updated to 11:59 p.m. April 11.
Applications for the Associated Students of Citrus College 2021-2022 term are now open. Candidates must apply by 11:59 p.m. April 4 using an online application.
The available positions listed in the 2021-2022 Election Packet are president, vice president, legislative liaison, student trustee and seven senator positions. Candidates can only run for one office.
Instead of a candidate forum, candidates will write a 150-word statement on the goals they would like to achieve if they are elected to their positions. The statements will be made public on a webpage created by Citrus College.
Elections will take place on WingSpan from April 20-22. All students can vote by selecting “answer a survey” on WingSpan or my.citruscollege.edu, where a voting survey will be posted when elections start. Results will be available April 26.
