The Vikings eventually got their rhythm, outscoring the Owls 35-27 to end the half, but the Owls still led 43-39 going into halftime.

The second half got even closer as the Vikings tied the game 71-71 with four  minutes to play.

The Owls and Vikings kept trading buckets until the final buzzer but it was the Owls who walked out with an 83-80 win.

Citrus looks to improve to 3-0 on the season with an away game against Pasadena City College at 6 p.m. on Nov. 12.
