The Cinema Club combines all forms of creativity, spanning filmography, music-making and acting.
With their new short film idea finalized, they are looking for anyone willing to act out the roles they have created.
The story’s plot follows a small friend group conveying to one another about the drama happening in the group. With the intention to help a friend out, a few in the group speak to others outside of the group. This results in a chain of rumors that commences, which eventually gets back to the main group of friends.
Below are descriptions of characters available:
June- The person who confides in the group and is the most vulnerable and hurt throughout.
Alex- Wants to be a better person by helping June and asks others for help with the situation.
Danny- A friend of a friend in the group. Doesn’t have much say or care in the situation. Ends up sharing misinformation due to complaints and tiredness.
Sam- The person out of the loop, asking all the questions about what is going on.
Nicky- The person on the other end, either the last to receive info about everything/ is involved in what happened and finds out everyone knows.
Auditions will be held on May 5, in VT215. Times can be selected on their Google form.
