Citrus College softball opens the postseason at home May 1 with a familiar matchup and a simple goal, win two games and move on.
The No. 6 seed Owls (27-13) will host No. 11 Saddleback (28-12) in a best-of-three series as part of the 3C2A Southern California Regional. In this format, the first team to win two games advances.
Game 1 is set for May 1 at 5 p.m. at Citrus College. Game 2 will be played May 2 at 2 p.m., with a third game to follow if necessary.
